When "calls" for service are requested from citizens to the police department, those calls are "prioritized." Therefore,
if your house (or business) alarm is activated, and the "minimal number of officers on-duty" that night are receiving domestic
violence calls, and shootings, your alarm call has been "pushed" down on the priority list. It could literally take hours
for the police to respond to your alarm.
At one time, the City of Tulsa was even discussing ceasing police response to alarms. In our opinion, people have alarms
systems because they obviously want their assets protected.
ANVIS, is again the sole-service provider, in offering a service of having one of our officers respond to an alarm that
has been activated at your home or business. In developing this concept, we have ensured that the most competent, and best
equipped, officers can respond to alarm calls, in an abbreviated response time than what citizens are receiving from
local law enforcement.
Once again, our officers are off-duty police officers with the powers of arrest. Additionally, these officers have all
of the resources that ANVIS offers (K-9's, back-up), as well as the resources offered to them by local law enforcement.
