"Technically, and according to State law, we are a State certified security agency. Although, we don't like that term.
Security agencies are all scams and frauds, and we only employ off-duty police officers, who have the power to investigate
and arrest. Calling one of our guys a security guard is a slap in his face." ANVIS DIrector Travis Cartner in
an interview with local media.

Tulsa has been blessed with some of the most dedicated and brave law enforcement officers in the country. However, there
are too few of those officers to battle Tulsa's growing crime rate. Budget constraints and other factors have led to manpower
shortages among local law enforcement, leaving local law enforcement agencies struggling to meet minimum manpower
levels - meaning that citizens are provided with minimum police protection.
ANVIS Protective Resources is a multi-disciplined security firm that offers a comprehensive array of solution-based services
to assist our clients in meeting the risk and threats posed by today's challenges.

Aside from the most advanced police patrol cars, ANVIS Officers ride 2008 Harley Davidson Nightsters for
patrol in Tulsa communities. These motorcycles have led to the 'surprised' apprehension of would-be car thieves and
burglars.
Our Company
ANVIS Protective Resources has developed the 'first of it kind' service, to enable our clients to supplement their policing
needs. As a result of the growing crime rate in Tulsa, many businesses (and even some citizens) have already identified the
need to supplement their protective needs by hiring off-duty police officers or security guards. The employment of traditional
security agencies, which provide security guards, has proven beneficial (to some degree). However, it has also exposed many
of those businesses to a higher degree of liability, since those security guards are limited in their abilities, knowledge
of the law, resources, and tactics needed to sufficiently fulfill their clients' needs.
The employment of off-duty police officers has proven to be invaluable. The officers carry with them the same authority
(ability to investigate and arrest) as when they are on-duty. The officers have extensive training and experience, and
have the ability to access the same resources and utilize safe tactics to ensure their clients' objectives are met. Those
officers serve as a crime deterrent, and should the need arise for an officer to take action, that officer can provide an
immediate reaction.
Although this concept has proven beneficial, the cost of such a service can be overbearing for businesses. Typically,
these officers are compensated an hourly rate of twenty-five ($25.00) dollars per hour.
ANVIS Protective Resources has taken this concept and expanded it - making this type of service affordable by virtually
everyone! ANVIS has developed districts within the City of Tulsa, and employs only the most competent off-duty police
officers for protective services.

Our Philosophy
ANVIS Protective Resources only employs the most competent law enforcement officers to provide protective needs. Only
officers that have demonstrated an exceptional work ethic, knowledge of the law, and abilities and talents as a police officer
are employed by our agency.
By creating 'districts' within the City of Tulsa, our officers become familiar with the clients in the area, and what
appears out of the ordinary. Our officers continuously 'rove' their area, making a higher police presence, and therefore hindering
crimes of opportunity. Additionally, our clients are able to access our officers directly, should they need an officer for
any reason. By creating this system, our clients have the ability to report a 'suspicious person' directly to an officer,
and have the officer respond in minutes, instead of hours!
By creating these districts, we have divided the traditional cost of hiring an off-duty police officer among participants
of each district. In doing so, we have been successful in providing our clients with the most aggressive form of supplemented
police protection, as well as the most effective..
With our officers taking 'suspicious person' and 'loud music' calls, it has taken some of the burden off of the on-duty
police officers. Our overall goal is to accept more of the 'low priority' types of calls, which will enable on-duty police
officers to improve their response time to 'high priority' types of calls.
